This painting explores the intersection of fashion and fine art, examining the female form through the lens of stylized elegance and bold minimalism. For silhouette and pose, I used a reduced yet high-contrast palette to elevate the subject to a modern icon. By omitting superfluous details, I sought to emphasize the expressiveness of the brushstrokes and the architectural grace of the model. In „Twilight Shadow,“ my aim was to masterfully capture mood and light

This artwork resonates with the concept of Anima Mundi, or the „soul of the world.“ Many ancient philosophical and mythological traditions believe that the Earth itself is a living, conscious entity with a spirit. In my painting, the human figure can be seen as a personification of this spirit, a visible manifestation of the forest’s own consciousness. She is the guardian, the essence, the living soul of the woods.
„They Pose for a Photoshoot“ 120 cm x 80 cm – 2004

„The Bird Woman“ 90 cm x 70 cm – 2025
My crow’s name is Oscar; he’s with me in the garden every day. I feel a mysterious bound between us… It may sound a bit strange, but if you let yourself go, the connection is there. For me, this work is a kind of introspection. I turn my thoughts, feelings, and experiences inward and analyse them… An introspection that found its way outward through this painting. After reflecting on it, I came to the realization that I am in balance with nature, and I try to observe almost daily how nature, with all its wonders, affects me.

„The doll with one leg“ 120 cm x 80 cm – 2024
I think of the people in war, of the children in war, I think of the animals in wartime, I think of nature in war, I think of the destroyed lives, I think of all the misery, … I think of the many broken toys …

„Stubble Field“ 70 cm x 50 cm – 2025
A moment of stillness in a wild, windswept field…

„The Scarecrow“ 60 cm x 80 cm – 2025
This painting has a philosophical meaning for me:
The purpose of a scarecrow is to scare away birds. My painting depicts an alternate reality: The birds are right there with it, fearless. To me, this signifies that the will of nature often overrides human intention.
My work explores the relationship between humanity’s creations and the natural world, and how, despite our best efforts, nature sometimes finds a way to coexist or even dominate

“Grasses and concrete wall “ 100 cm x 80 cm – 2025
My canvas is a meeting point of two opposing worlds, a compelling a dialogue emerges. This wall, a symbol of human-made boundaries and sterile permanence, feels both heavy and empty. It’s a backdrop of indifference, a monument to our structured world. Below, in vibrant contrast, the delicate, golden grasses rise. They are the untamed, the wild, the living things that find a way to flourish against all odds. The path that winds between them, leading toward the wall and beyond, represents the journey of finding a way forward through the tension of these two realities. It speaks to the resilience of nature in the face of our built-up, manufactured world. My painting invites you to contemplate the delicate balance between the organic and the artificial, suggesting that even in the most sterile of environments, there is an enduring whisper of life

„Beyond the Path“ 100 cm x 80 cm – 2025
In this abstract landscape painting I used the wet-on-wet technique to give the entire upper area a soft, watercolor-like wash. The low horizon line anchors the piece and sets the stage for the fie that dominates the lower third. I kept this area in autumnal colors, predominantly bright golden yellows and deep rust and burnt oranges, which contrast with the pale sky.To bring the painting to life, I added fine, dark accents in the form of tall, bushy blades of grass. I painted these with quick strokes that rise from the bottom edge and interrupt the soft expanse of the sky. In doing so, I tried to create a sense of movement and breeze.

„Pale Daybreak Path in Winter“ 100 cm x 80 cm -2025
My main intention was to create a calm, contemplative atmosphere and to highlight the unique light and mood of a winter day. I created a strong linear perspective that draws the eye into the distance. This dark element creates a powerful contrast with the surrounding white/pale ground, emphasizing the path as a journey or focal point. In my concept, the dry grasses and thistles in the foreground serve as a crucial element. They provide texture, movement, and a sense of fragile life against the stillness of the cold landscape. I painted them with fine, energetic brushstrokes, to give them a frosted, almost sparkling. I worked with a limited, muted palette dominated by cool greys

„The Weight of the Gaze“ 120 cm x 80 cm – 2024
This painting possesses a cinematic noir quality. With this painting, I intended to capture a very particular, haunting atmosphere. The subject is enveloped in glamour—yet her posture tells a different story. She is not posing for a portrait; she almost seems to have slumped into the chair.
She is lost in thought, introspective. My intention was to capture a moment of solitude that should appear both elegant and profoundly human. Executed in an expressionistic style, the emotional impact of the scene was more important to me than a perfect anatomical representation.

„Anchorless“ 80 cm x 6o cm – 2025
With this artwork, I tried to give the old boat a soul… the boat as a vessel of emotions and a history of silence.
For me, this boat is a silent witness to storms and times of calm.
The boat has fulfilled or lost its purpose and now rests… lying abandoned on the sand, its dark, earthy hue against the light sand emphasizing its weight and history.
The wood has stories that the sand swallows…
Now it rests, a shadow, weighed down by wind and wave.

„Storm’s Whisper“ 80 cm x 6o cm – 2025
My acrylic painting is an atmospheric tension captured just moments before the storm breaks. The heavy sky contrasts with the fleeting, brilliant light on the horizon and foreground
A study in light, shadow, and mood. I wanted to capture the unsettling calm, the electric stillness that precedes heavy rain.

„The Weight of Light“ 80 cm x 100 cm -2026
This painting is a meditation on the atmosphere. Although a cloud has no roots, here it possesses a physical presence, a density that requires time and stillness to truly grasp. It represents the part of me that remains, that corrects, and that finds a home not in the earth, but in the enduring beauty of the horizon.

„Vague Memory “ 60 cm x 90 cm -2026
A memory of Switzerland, captured in the same blurred, fleeting way it lives in my memory. As the sight of freely grazing cattle becomes increasingly rare, I wanted to capture them not as static figures, but as a collective presence—vague, transient, and precious. It is a quiet meditation on what we lose from our sight. The “blurred” memory: Because the cattle lack sharp details, they appear to be dissolving. It is not a photograph of a pasture; it is the feeling of looking out of a car window in Switzerland and trying to hold onto that image before it disappears behind a hill—or with the passage of time.
