This artwork resonates with the concept of Anima Mundi, or the „soul of the world.“ Many ancient philosophical and mythological traditions believe that the Earth itself is a living, conscious entity with a spirit. In my painting, the human figure can be seen as a personification of this spirit, a visible manifestation of the forest’s own consciousness. She is the guardian, the essence, the living soul of the woods.

The Bird Woman, acrylic painting on canvas, 90cm x 70cm – 2025
My crow’s name is Oscar; he’s with me in the garden every day. I feel a mysterious bound between us… It may sound a bit strange, but if you let yourself go, the connection is there. For me, this work is a kind of introspection. I turn my thoughts, feelings, and experiences inward and analyse them… An introspection that found its way outward through this painting. After reflecting on it, I came to the realization that I am in balance with nature, and I try to observe almost daily how nature, with all its wonders, affects me.

The doll with one leg, acrylic painting on canvas, 120cm x 80cm – 2024
I think of the people in war, of the children in war, I think of the animals in wartime, I think of nature in war, I think of the destroyed lives, I think of all the misery, … I think of the many broken toys …

Stubble Field, Acrylic Painting on Canvas, 70cm x 50cm – 2025
A moment of stillness in a wild, windswept field…

„The Scarecrow.“Acrylic painting on canvas, 60cm x 80cm – 2025
This painting has a philosophical meaning for me:
The purpose of a scarecrow is to scare away birds. My painting depicts an alternate reality: The birds are right there with it, fearless. To me, this signifies that the will of nature often overrides human intention.
My work explores the relationship between humanity’s creations and the natural world, and how, despite our best efforts, nature sometimes finds a way to coexist or even dominate

“Grasses and concrete wall „, acrylic painting on canvas, 100 cm x 80 cm – 2025
My canvas is a meeting point of two opposing worlds, a compelling a dialogue emerges. This wall, a symbol of human-made boundaries and sterile permanence, feels both heavy and empty. It’s a backdrop of indifference, a monument to our structured world. Below, in vibrant contrast, the delicate, golden grasses rise. They are the untamed, the wild, the living things that find a way to flourish against all odds. The path that winds between them, leading toward the wall and beyond, represents the journey of finding a way forward through the tension of these two realities. It speaks to the resilience of nature in the face of our built-up, manufactured world. My painting invites you to contemplate the delicate balance between the organic and the artificial, suggesting that even in the most sterile of environments, there is an enduring whisper of life
